Make one useful document first
Create a master resume containing accurate information you are comfortable sharing. Use the guided contact fields and section editor, or switch to Advanced Markdown when you need direct control over the source. You can add, remove and reorder sections without changing the original imported file. A copied resume is an independent document: use it to prepare a focused application while keeping the master available for another role.
Review, then prepare an export
Open the readiness panel and paste a job description if you want a keyword comparison. The dictionary is intentionally limited; missing terms are prompts to investigate, not instructions to invent skills. Choose your paper size, text size, margins and accent. Download PDF, DOCX, text or Markdown as appropriate for the requested application. PDF proof and the quick browser preview are different: inspect the actual exported file, including every page, before submitting it. JSON Resume and YAML include a Markdown extension for lossless transfer; other software may ignore that extension.
Keep your work safe
Documents, private notes, saved job descriptions, versions, letters and application records are stored in this browser origin. Ordinary resume exports exclude those private side records. A full workspace backup includes them, so treat the backup as sensitive. Download a backup regularly and before clearing storage or moving to another domain. The hosting provider serves static files and receives normal HTTP and IP metadata, but this app has no document-upload API, analytics or cloud account. A browser reset, device loss or storage eviction can remove local work.
Understand the boundaries
Selectable-text PDF and DOCX imports produce an editable text draft and may require cleanup, particularly for columns and unusual formatting. Scanned images have no OCR here. PDF imports are limited to twenty pages and PDF or DOCX files to ten MiB. A local readiness result cannot know how every employer parses documents or whether an application will succeed. Confirm the employer’s file requirements and check the final file yourself.
FAQ
Do files leave my device?
The app processes resume content locally and has no upload endpoint. Static site requests still reach the hosting provider.
Does a readiness score guarantee an interview?
No. It is local rule-based guidance, not an employer ATS result or a prediction of hiring.
Can I reopen my work later?
Use the same browser and origin, and keep a full backup in case local storage is cleared.
